White Collar Season 2 New Episodes on USA

Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Diahann Carroll, and Hilarie Burton star in White Collar.

On Tuesday January 18, 2011, the second half of the second season of White Collar will begin to be broadcast on USA.

The new episodes will start with the tenth episode of the second season, “Burke’s Seven.”

White Collar Season 2

Set in New York City, White Collar first aired on USA from October 2009 to March 2010, and it focused on the professional partnership and the unlikely friendship between an honest FBI agent and a top con artist.

The second season of the hit series began to be broadcast on USA in July 2010, and the first nine episodes of the season were shown during the summer. The remaining five episodes of the second season will be aired during its winter run from the end of January through to the end of February, and the entertaining show will serve as a very welcome distraction from the unrelenting harshness of the frost beaten winter weeks.

Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Marsha Thomson, Sharif Atkins, Diahann Carroll, and Hilarie Burton

The talented co-stars, Tim DeKay and Matt Bomer reprise their roles as FBI Special Agent Peter Burke and criminal turned “good guy” Neal Caffrey for the remaining episodes of the second season.

Willie Garson will again be seen as the likeably strange character of Mozzie, the comical, useful, and neurotic sidekick of Neal Caffrey, and the other FBI agent characters played by Marsha Thomson and Sharif Atkins will be among those numbered “Burke’s Seven.”

It is thought that Tiffani Theissen, who was more minimally seen during the first half of the second season due to her real life pregnancy, is expected to be seen more often as Peter’s lovable, intelligent, and all-around enchanting wife, Elizabeth.

Hilarie Burton is also slated to return as the ultra-efficient insurance investigator, Sara Ellis, and Diahann Carroll is likely to make an appearance as Neal’s landlady, June.

White Collar Season 3

For fans already sorrowful at the thought that five new episodes of the popular series seems too few, viewers may console themselves that USA has already renewed the successful show for a third season, which will consist of sixteen episodes, so there is the prospect of even more new episodes soon to follow.

Reviewing White Collar

White Collar may have its lapses in excellence, but overall, it is a very good show. It is a satisfying mixture of intrigue and comic relief, and it is reliably entertaining.

The relationships of the characters to each other are well developed and lovable, and the performances of cast members such as Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, and Sharif Atkins are perfection. The recurring characters played by Diahann Carroll and Hilarie Burton are also well performed.

The series is also visually pretty to watch, with the filming of New York City and its diverse architecture especially attractive and atmospheric.
